Shri S. C. Mudgerikar, Chairman and Managing Director, Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers ltd., flagged off celebrations of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 23rd March, 2021 from RCF’s Boardroom in Mumbai.
RCF Offices from all over Maharashtra participated digitally via Zoom. Commemorating India’s 75 years of Independence. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had earlier urged the Nation to join in these celebrations with the objective of showcasing India’s development on the theme of Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
In sync with the theme, various programmes are to be organized by RCF’s Marketing Offices. These programmes are aimed to spread awareness about correct fertilizer application, balanced use of fertilizers, focus on climate zone, soil analysis, new farm technologies, measuring crop yeild vis-à-vis fertilizer uses.
Shri Dilip Zende, Director, Agriculture, Government of Maharashtra briefed the virtual audience consisting of over 200 farmers of the measures taken by Agriculture Department to support the farmers.
Two videos on Covid awareness and Vegetable farming were launched on the occasion and were made available on digital platform RCF Kisan Manch.
